Many thanks for posting this little-known gem.
While I am not a horror film fan, I would say this film is well worth a look.
Clever filmmaking and a complex, intelligent plot (
e.g. the protagonists rely heavily on math to help them survive) make this a good way to spend 90 minutes.
(Plus, the Leaven character is both clever *and* cute, a rare combination in films.)
I don't know if this is enough of a cult favourite for the Cr1+eri0n C0llec+ion to eventually release, but it would be interesting to get a better idea of what the filmmakers were thinking when they shot it and what the actors experienced when they performed in it. "Cube" is not the sort of film that you see every day and it does not surprise me that it was made on a shoestring budget so that the chaps who made it could make exactly the kind of film they wanted to.
Give it a go.
